Office of Equal Opportunity

The Office of Equal Opportunity leads and advises on key workplace matters, including equal employment opportunity, harassment prevention, conflict resolution, accessibility in the workplace and work products, and reasonable accommodations. The office is also responsible for ensuring compliance with Management Directive MD-715.

Business and Contracting Opportunities

FinCEN acquires a range of products and services through multiple procurement methods as outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). These methods include micro-purchases, simplified acquisitions, delivery orders, contracts, blanket purchase agreements (BPAs), and government-wide acquisition contracts (GWACs).

Procurements valued over $25,000 are publicly advertised through the System for Award Management (SAM). Businesses interested in working with FinCEN are encouraged to check SAM regularly for open opportunities. All vendors must be registered in the SAM system to be eligible for federal contract awards.

FinCEN is also open to receiving innovative ideas or proposals that may support its mission. Vendors can refer to FAR Subpart 15.6 for general guidance on submitting unsolicited proposals. Additionally, FinCEN maintains a file of qualifications and business information submitted by potential contractors.
